A good place-quiet safe to live in Perth;wa?

If I wanted to rent an apartment in Perth what would be a good place ;that it's not very far from the city centre and where there is no troubling neighbourhood?

The southern Perth is pretty safe to live along with Fremantle, Gold Coast and North Bridge, these are very safe and secure places in Perth, try not living in open farms or farmlands.
